By air
Fly in to us via the St. Louis, Missouri (Lambert Field,
STL).
From St
Louis Airport:
You may
then rent a car to drive down about 2 hours.

If you rent the car
from Enterprise, you can return the car in Farmington 25 miles from the
center. But if you rent the car from Budget or other, you will have to drive
almost 2 hrs away to return the car. If renting a car to come in, it is best
to plan to keep the car parked at the center during your stay and return it
to the airport office to save money. We recommend shuttle service to
Farmington and center personnel picking you up.

Dhamma Sukha Meditation
Center and Jeta’s Grove is located about 100 miles South and West of St.
Louis, Missouri . We are located about 13 miles South of Ironton, Missouri
on Double A highway (AA). This is now an excellent hardtop county road in a
forest area of the Federal parkland preserve leading up to the Taum Sauk
Reservoir and Power Pump Storage Station. The pump station is closed at this
time for major repairs which will take about 3 yrs minimum to complete. This
road has fresh white guidelines on it and a double yellow lane on it for
safe driving through the forest.

roads.

There will be a WHITE MAILBOX the number 100 on it and a small
Buddhist Wheel on the right side of the road.

From the
South
side coming up to us:
-
From Rt. 60 come on over into Centerville, MO.
-
Continue on Rt.21 towards Lesterville, MO.
-
You will pass through Lesterville, a very tiny little place.
-
As you pass through it, you will cross a bridge over the black
river. You will see the Log Cabin Inn on the left and Lenny's store
will be on the right side. JUST past this you will see a brown sign
for Taum Sauk Lake on the left.

Turn left onto "U" just past that sign.
-
Follow “U” for about 7 miles. You will be driving on older hardtop
road at first with a line in the middle on it, and then with no line
as you pass over into state forest lands.
-
Along this way you will come to a low water bridge crossing. Usually
this is dry. Go over this low water dip.
-
Just past this, you must bear to the right and continue onto the new
hardtop road and this will have excellent white safety lines on the
sides and a double yellow line in the middle.
-

careful. You will need to pull way to the left to be able to make
the turn into our driveway by making this U-turn. TAKE EXTREME
CAUTION IF doing this during the day ! There are many large trucks
going along this road at this time because of the pump station
repairs going on.

green lawn area with some trees on your left to a little brown house
with two Tigers painted on the end of it, a small cottage shed
