Based on the Book “Guide to Forgiveness Meditation” by Bhante Vimalaramsi This meditation is a way to remove emotional blocks in the mind that has stopped your feeling of lovingkindness from arising. It is fully accepting who we are. It is letting go of the unwholesome and making way for the wholesome. Many times a retreater tries to bring up the feeling of Metta on a retreat and just can't do it. This is a way to explore and heal the mind to open to the immeasurable space of Lovingkindness and the path to Nibbana itself. "Beauty Amidst Adversity: The lotus's beauty and grace, despite its humble beginnings in muddy waters, symbolize the resilience of the human spirit and the ability to find beauty and joy even in difficult circumstances." Just as the lotus grows out of the mud and muck of the stagnet pond, boundless lovingkindness springs from the release of these emotional feelings. Please watch all the videos and practice twice a day at least and you will certainly see the benefit. Do it for one week!
